Hexaflex Strategies was founded in 2013 by Andrew Louie. Prior to founding Hexaflex Strategies, Andrew was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at IRIS International where he was responsible for Business Transformation, Enterprise Risk Management and Information Technology. Andrew's work at IRIS supported 5+ years of double-digit growth that led to the successful sale of IRIS to Beckman Coulter. What moved Andrew most about IRIS is the fact that a mid-sized company could disrupt an established market through technology innovation and achieve 70% market share. The fact that IRIS' pipeline includes applying this same technology to compete in the $2+B Hematology market is a case study that could have been predicted by Clayton Christenson's research.
Andrew began his career at Deloitte, where he was a Senior Manager involved in building two consulting practices for the firm and led strategic initiatives for senior executives of Fortune 100 Companies. In this role, Andrew solved some of the biggest business challenges for these companies that enabled them to penetrate new markets, enter new phases of growth and strengthen their existing businesses. Andrew specialized in incorporating a strong digital technology understanding into the delivery of multi-year business strategies and the design of global organizations with a focus on Growth, Mergers and Acquisitions, e-Business, Security and Technology.
Andrew has dual MBA degrees from UCLA and National University of Singapore Global Executive MBA Program that was ranked 3rd in The Economist and 5th in the Financial Times of London rankings. Andrew also earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA, where he was the Commencement Speaker at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences graduation Study.
